The Flower That Swallowed the Beast was a romance web novel written by Baekmyo, art by 녹슨유리 (rustyuri) and officially licensed and published on YONDER; it concluded on September 16, 2023 and supplementary story premiered on September 17 and concluded on October 5, 2023. The original Korean web novel premiered on Naver Web Novel and concluded on December 6, 2021 and supplementary story premiered on December 17 and concluded on December 28, 2021.
There is a webtoon adaption of the series.
Baekmyo is also the author of Noble in Name, Vulgar at Heart.
Synopsis
"Your smile is lovely, Iris," the beast said. "I want to swallow you whole."
Due to her beauty, Iris was known as the flower of Duke Whittle. In reality, however, she was merely an illegitimate child born from a tryst between the duke and one of his maids. Until its very end, her life was akin to a wilting weed trying to withstand the fires of hell.
But just as the curtains closed, her new life began. To make sure this second chance doesn't go the same way as her first, Iris approaches Keibrandt, a fierce and beastly man who she plans to use for the sake of living comfortably.
"Let's see if you can make me hot, Keibrandt—though I doubt that will be possible."
This is a fairytale about a proud woman who tamed a beast.
